This is my music video for my friends band "TBA". It was created for my final year project and will be shown at the end of year show on june 8th-9th 2007.
The theme of this video is based around my warped imagination and how I interpreted the song. Its set many years in the future, where the Earth has been destroyed.
On a piece of Earth rubble, a lonely church and its grave yard survived, floating alone in space.
Living upon this rock is a strange angel type figure, living alone tending to the church. He is meant to represent the lonelyness I felt is portrayed through the song. He is seen chasing the robot that was painting the church because he wants company. Then by the end of the video the angel notices the grave of its lover, that was taken from him long ago.
This is the longest animation I've ever done and probly the most complecated too! My favourite part of the whole scene is the church, I spent alot of time modelling and texturing it to get it to look exactly how I had designed it.
I made some test video's of the Robots movement and a small test animation of how I wanted the Angel to move. the videos can be downloaded below. The angels body is just rectangles at the time of rendering it so its not that pretty.
I recently made a new render of the church seen in the video. The camera just pans around it so you can see it from all the sides. You can download it below.
